Boulangerie

Boulangerie on a corner of rue de Rochencouart in the 9th arrondissement.

Une Baguette / un croissant / un pain au chocolat - are all part of daily French life. People buy them in the morning before breakfast, and again a baguette in the evening before dinner. To meet the demand for these, and other delights, any French city is full of baker shops - Boulangerie. Of course Paris is no exception. Often placed on street corners, the city abounds with boulangerie of all different types and styles.

1. Belle Epoque style on the corner of rue d'Hautevill and rue d'Enghien in the 10th.

2. Not all boulangerie are works of art. Here is a simple funtional boulangerie on the corner of rue de Faubourg Poissonnière and rue de Dunkerque in the 10th.
